We open up the tuber store yearly to share the beauty and our extra stock. All tubers are grown here locally in the midwest…Ohio to be specific ` Zone 6B. Our region seems to be a lovely climate for dahlias as they grow well in full sun and good draining soil, however we must dig, divide and store them in a protected cooler each winter. If your region gets freezing winter temps you will want to do the same. Our farm uses organic practices and methods and we are very careful to sanitize our tools between each plant while harvesting. At the time of the sale, each tuber is inspected for a viable eye before shipping out. Each listing is for ONE dahlia tuber. It will be labeled and lovingly packed here on our farm, then shipped once we deem the weather acceptable in your region. Please note: shipping can take several weeks, we cannot guarantee a shipping date. Plant your tubers when the ground has warmed and there is no excessive rain in the forecast. Dahlias are susceptible to rot. Happy planting!
